BESOAIN Lafken are limited editions from vineyards selected by us. We hand-harvest the grapes that become Lafken wines, each bottle being the purest expression of the variety and terroir for that particular vintage.
This BESOAIN Carménére 2021 comes from the vineyard located in Las Pataguas, Cachapoal Valley. The vineyard is 16 years old, and its vines are at their peak quality. It was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels before bottling, then rested for another 6 months before being made available to our discerning consumers.
Only 50 barrels were vinified, or 1,250 cases.
With a characteristic carmine red color, the aromas of blackberry, wood, and cassis stand out.
On the palate, its concentration and freshness are appreciated, highlighting notes of vanilla, mocha, and strawberries.
Juicy and with great aging potential.
